Hey everybody, I'm Mike, I'm with Scott Equipment Company. I am the Marketing Manager. We are at SCHUNK today and we have got Henry here. He works in the COLab at SCHUNK and he's going to tell us a little bit about the MTB system they put together and four benefits that you should know about.

So, Henry, what's the first benefit?

Yeah, so what we see here is the Machine Tending Bundle. And the first benefit of it is, it is only one part number. So we have one part number and you get the depth plate, a double gripper solution, a vice block, sensors, everything pre-installed, pre-wired, pre-tubed, and that all under one part number.

And the second benefit of overlays in the back is an integrated blow off nozzle to blow chips and coolant from the vice block and your part when you engage the CNC Machine.

Right, so integrated blow off. So, it's all built into one part and you don't have to come up with a solution to have blow contaminants off for your parts.

What is the third benefit.

The third benefit of having the blow off valve directly next to the grippers is that you only need one airline and one electrical connection along the arm and to the top of front of the robot’s wrist. Instead of opening/closing two grippers and activating the blow off nozzle. You don't need five cables or five air tubes you only need one.

The fourth benefit is that in addition to the double gripper solution, the device bundle comes with airlines, electrical connections with a IP67 rating, vice block and those cool metal springs that go around the airline to protect them from hot chips and prevent hot chips from poking holes into the airlines.
