Hydraulics Training - Scott Equipment Company

Introduction:   Scott Equipment Company is offering hydraulic training classes starting in the Fall of 2022.  Our hydraulics' specialist, Barron Moon will be leading the training.

The class will focus on the following:

  • Hydraulic Components
  • Reading Hydraulic Schematics
  • Troubleshooting Hydraulic Systems

Hyraulic Training - Scott Equipment Company

The training WILL NOT focus on designing hydraulics systems. Our class is designed for maintenance personnel that work on the hydraulic systems – not folks that need to perform complicated mathematical equations required to design a hydraulic system.

The goal of the class is to help maintenance personnel gain a better understanding of each item in a hydraulic system starting at the tank and moving to hydraulic valves, hoses, and actuators.

This class is not designed to make your maintenance personnel engineers. It is designed to give them a complete understanding of Hydraulics, what parts make up a hydraulic system and how it is used, and how to read and understand schematics so they can troubleshoot hydraulic systems.

Class Structure:

This is an eight (8) hour class. There will be a 1-hour break for lunch. Each student will receive a 150-page manual.
