SMC Positive Pressure Sensors & Switches

SMC offers a range of pressure monitoring devices that can meet the diverse application requirements of your machines. SMC's collection of sensors and switches have IP ratings as high as IP67, IO-Link capability, and pneumatic or liquid compatibility. Ease of use has been increased by the use of multi-line, multi-color displays for increased visibility.

SMC ISE digital pressure sensors have an informative, easy to read 3 screen, 3 color display. The main screen shows the instantaneous reading in red or green, while two sub-screens can display the setting label and its numeric value in orange. ISE20 saves energy with only 25mA current consumption. Further, the switch output responds within 1.5ms once the set pressure value is reached. ISE20 is UL/CSA and RoHS compliant, with an IP40 enclosure rating.

SMC liquid pressure sensors provide continuous quantitative values, as well as switched digital outputs when pressure set points are met. Compatible fluids include any non-corrosive liquid or gas. 4 pressure ranges are offered, from 1.0 to 10.0 MPa. This sensor is also IO-Link compatible. Sensor information, such as identity, functional state, cable connection, and current or switch values can be set or monitored remotely through an IO-Link master, and connected to a fieldbus network. The SMC ISE70G series is designed for abusive environments that may also include splashed coolant, lubricants, or grime. Electronics are packaged in a metal housing, while the piping connection is a stout lug with female threads, which together protect the sensor against accidental collisions with other objects in the area. A smooth display face with membrane type buttons avoids contamination from grit and sticky residue that could clog or jam raised rubber buttons. The display is angled and can rotate 336 degrees, to permit easy reading when indirectly mounted. The main screen shows instantaneous values in red or green, while the sub screen settings appear in orange. Switch indicators will also light when set points are reached.

The SMC PSE300A is a sensor monitor with an informative, easy to read 3 screen, 3 color display. Connect any PSE series remote pressure sensor to acquire its analog input. Alternately, the range input function can scale any 1-5V or 4-20mA signal from another sensor type to a display value from -1500 to 1500. View the sensor's measured value on the main screen, while also viewing a variety of secondary data on the sub-screens, including switch set point value, level meter, character string for labeling and more. A copy function allows master settings to be applied to up to 10 target sensors. Additional functions include selectable NPN/PNP outputs, anti-chatter, error codes, power saving, key lock, security code and others. PSE300A is CE, C-RU-US and RoHS compliant, with an IP40 enclosure rating.
