EX600-DYPE SMC EX600 Digital Output Module - 16 PNP Outputs, 25-Pin D-Sub

The SMC EX600-DYPE is a 16-point digital output module for the EX600 fieldbus system. It mounts in the general purpose I/O section of an EX600 manifold, including the EX600 Safety Communication Fieldbus System with the EX600-BEN1 fieldbus module, where up to nine general purpose modules can be fitted in any order. Where the M12 version suits field devices cabled one at a time, the D-sub version carries all 16 outputs on one connector to a terminal strip or control panel.

16 PNP outputs on a D-sub socket (25 pins) with No.4-40 UNC lock screws. Supplied voltage 24 VDC, max. load current 0.5 A per output and 2 A per unit, with short-circuit protection. Current consumption 50 mA or less.

Enclosure IP40 in the manifold assembly, so it suits cabinet or protected mounting rather than washdown; weight 300 g, operating temperature -10 to +50 °C. CE marking, UL (CSA), RoHS compliant. The IP67 M12 alternative with 8 outputs is the EX600-DYPB.
