EDCO USA was founded in 1994 by Ed and Sheila Johnson with the intent to manufacture high-quality, “Made in America” vacuum products for the USA manufacturing market. However, it has been our good fortune to develop relationships with qualified distributors around the world and our export sales now approach 40% of their sales.
 
EDCO USA was startedwithout having any machines to make the parts or to mold our vacuum cups. For ten years, EDCO USA relied on other manufacturers to provide that function while EDCO concentrated on designing new components and expanding the EDCO product line. Today, EDCO USA owns a full complement of CNC machines, inspection equipment, and injection molding machines to manufacture EDCO products in their 27,000 ft² factory near St. Louis, Missouri.
 
Ed and Sheila's two sons, Chris and Justin, grew up in the business. As officers, they have the responsibility of day-to-day operations of the company. EDCO is a family-owned company and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
