Hey guys, welcome to another Pro Tip video brought to you by Scott Equipment Company. Let's check some stuff out.

Of the products we have here at Scott Equipment, The one that we're having the most fun with these days is our Kassow Robots KR810 collaborative robot. And the cool thing about Kassow Robots, relative to the industry leading collaborative robot manufacturer out there is that it has a greater payload capacity. It has a longer reach, it is faster, but it also has this unique seventh axis right here below the elbow joint.

And to illustrate why that's important, think about your own arm and how it articulates, if you could only pivot your elbow joint, you couldn't do things like this, right, you couldn't rotate it as well as pivoting.

Well, the Kassow Robot, having the seventh axis allows you to do just that. So it comes closer to replicating the movement of a human arm than a traditional six axis robot.

So what I want to do is run through a program and show you that uniqueness. We're gonna pick a block and then run through some blended contour moves. This is a program we wrote in about 10 minutes. It is very easy to program the Kassow Robot with the Lenovo tablets they provide. Now you're gonna see how much the seventh axis moves to move our part out of the way for something like inspection
