EX600-FVC1 SMC EX600 Safety I/O Module - CIP Safety, 16 Inputs, 3 Outputs, 32 Solenoids

The SMC EX600-FVC1 is the CIP Safety safety I/O module of the EX600 Safety Communication Fieldbus System. It mounts directly to the valve manifold with a built-in valve interface and works with the EX600-BEN1 EtherNet/IP fieldbus module. When the safety PLC commands a safety output off, the module cuts the power supply to the valves (or to the connected external devices) and the manifold enters its safe state.

Certified by TÜV SÜD to IEC 61508 / IEC 62061 SIL 3 and ISO 13849-1 PL e. 16 safety inputs, PNP: single input (1oo1) gives 16 inputs at SIL 2 / PL d, dual input (1oo2) gives 8 inputs at SIL 3 / PL e. Three safety outputs: one for valves (Z1, 2 A, up to 32 solenoids) and two for external devices (Z2 and Z3, 0.25 A each), each made redundant by safety switches on the 24 V and 0 V sides with continuous diagnostics. Input power US1 24 VDC, 2 A per module; drive power US2 24 VDC, 2.5 A per module.

Connectable manifolds: SY3000, SY5000, SY7000 and JSY1000, JSY3000, JSY5000 (32 solenoids); VQC1000, VQC2000, VQC4000, VQC5000 (24 solenoids). Can also run without valves as a safety I/O manifold using the EX600-EU1 end plate. Operating temperature -10 to +50 °C, IP65/IP67 depending on the manifold, weight 540 g. CE/UKCA, UL (CSA). Seal caps are not included; fit one on every unused connector.
