EX600-AYA SMC EX600 Analog Output Module - 2 Channels, Voltage or Current, M12
Sku#: EX600-AYA
The SMC EX600-AYA is a two-channel analog output module for the EX600 fieldbus system. It mounts in the general purpose I/O section of an EX600 manifold and drives devices such as electro-pneumatic regulators, proportional valves and panel meters from the fieldbus. In the EX600 Safety Communication Fieldbus System, SMC lists the analog modules as compatible with the EX600-BPN1 (PROFINET) and EX600-BEC1 (EtherCAT) fieldbus modules.
Two outputs on M12 5-pin sockets, one output per connector (M12 4-pin plugs also fit). Each channel is voltage or current type: 0 to 10 V, 1 to 5 V or 0 to 5 V into 1 kΩ or more; 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA into 600 Ω or less. 12-bit resolution, linearity ±0.05% F.S., repeatability ±0.15% F.S., absolute accuracy ±0.5% F.S. (voltage) or ±0.6% F.S. (current) at 25 °C. Powered from US2 (drive supply), 0.5 A per connector on pin 1, with short-circuit protection. Current consumption 70 mA max. from US1.
Enclosure IP67 (depends on the manifold it is mounted to), weight 290 g, operating temperature -10 to +50 °C. For analog inputs as well as outputs see the EX600-AMB. Seal caps are not included; fit one on every unused connector.
