SMC EX600 analog I/O module. Two 12-bit input channels and two output channels, each voltage (0-10 V, 1-5 V, 0-5 V) or current (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA), on four M12 5-pin sockets, for pressure and flow sensors, regulators and drives on an EX600 fieldbus manifold.

The SMC EX600-AMB is a two-input, two-output analog I/O module for the EX600 fieldbus system. It mounts in the general purpose I/O section of an EX600 manifold and handles analog pressure, flow and position sensors alongside electro-pneumatic regulators and proportional valves from one module. In the EX600 Safety Communication Fieldbus System, SMC lists the analog modules as compatible with the EX600-BPN1 (PROFINET) and EX600-BEC1 (EtherCAT) fieldbus modules.

Inputs: two channels on M12 5-pin sockets, one per connector, voltage or current type. Voltage 0 to 10 V, 1 to 5 V or 0 to 5 V (input impedance 100 kΩ, max. rated 15 V); current 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA (250 Ω, max. rated 22 mA, protection interrupts the signal above rating). Sensor supply from US1, 0.5 A per connector. Outputs: two channels on M12 5-pin sockets, same ranges, into 1 kΩ or more (voltage) or 600 Ω or less (current), powered from US2, 0.5 A per connector on pin 1. All channels 12-bit, linearity ±0.05% F.S., repeatability ±0.15% F.S., absolute accuracy ±0.5% F.S. (voltage) or ±0.6% F.S. (current) at 25 °C, short-circuit protected. Current consumption 100 mA max. from US1.

Enclosure IP67 (depends on the manifold it is mounted to), weight 300 g, operating temperature -10 to +50 °C. Output-only version: EX600-AYA. Seal caps are not included; fit one on every unused connector.
