The Doering Company 82H2270401 Air Pilot Hydraulic Cartridge Valve is a precision 2-position, 2-way normally closed valve designed for hydraulic directional control applications. In its normally closed state, the valve blocks flow between ports 1 and 2; applying pilot pressure opens the passage. The 82H2270401 features a 40:1 pilot ratio, 5 GPM flow rating, Buna seals, and a hex body mount configuration. It is designed for a C-8502 (8-2) cavity with 3/4-16 threads.
The standard configuration includes a 1/8 NPT pilot port and hard stainless steel seat. Doering specifies a 50–150 PSI pilot pressure range, maximum pressure of 5,000 PSI when used with the C-8502 cavity, an estimated hard-seat Cv of 0.4, and an operating fluid-temperature range of -45°F to 200°F (-42.7°C to 93.3°C).
