SMC Legacy Series / New Application Guidance: SMC USA currently categorizes the SV Series as a legacy valve platform, while continuing to provide SV Series replacement components for existing equipment. SMC's current valve catalog also notes that EX250/EX500 serial systems are being discontinued and recommends considering EX260 or EX600 when designing new equipment and facilities.
