About häwa

Cabinet & Enclosure Engineering with a Long Industrial History

häwa’s roots reach back to 1907, with control-cabinet manufacturing beginning in 1959 and the häwa sales organization established in 1965. The company now employs approximately 450 people, operates two production sites in southern Germany and has maintained a U.S. subsidiary in Duluth, Georgia since 1986, where it supports North and South American customers with sales, consulting, logistics, warehousing and enclosure modification.

Steel, Stainless, Aluminum & Plastic Options

häwa offers enclosure materials suited to industrial electrical applications ranging from standard sheet steel to corrosion-resistant stainless steel and selected aluminum, polycarbonate, ABS and polyester housings.

Standard Platforms with Custom Flexibility

Standard cabinet and enclosure families provide a starting point, while dimensions, protection class, accessibility, climate control, interior layout and other details can be adapted when the application requires a customized solution.

North American Support

haewa Corporation’s Duluth, Georgia location includes a warehouse, modification center and showroom and supports customers across the Americas through in-house sales, representatives and a dealer network.

Help Select and Configure häwa Enclosure Systems

Our Sales and Technical Teams can help review enclosure dimensions, material, mounting, protection rating, environmental exposure, internal component layout, cable entry, thermal management and machine-frame requirements. We can also coordinate häwa products with controls, power supplies, connectivity, safety components and supporting panel hardware.

Enclosure & Cabinet Selection

Match size, material, IP/Type rating, mounting style, door arrangement, mounting plate and environment to the appropriate wall-mount, free-standing, modular or compact enclosure family.

Hygienic & Harsh-Environment Review

Evaluate stainless-steel construction, washdown, corrosion, cleanability, temperature and sealing needs for food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other demanding environments.

Machine Frame & Infrastructure Planning

Review machine footprint, structural requirements, doors, guarding interfaces, cable routing, operator access and cabinet integration when considering X-frame or related machine infrastructure.

WBIYII Panel & Enclosure Assemblies

Coordinate häwa enclosures with DIN rail, power supplies, controls, connectivity, terminal blocks and related components into repeatable WBIYII assemblies or installation-ready kits.

Selection note: Final enclosure and cabinet selection should be verified against the exact IP or UL Type rating of the specific configuration, material, temperature, corrosion exposure, installation method and modifications. Field machining, doors, cable entries, climate-control equipment and other changes can affect the original enclosure protection rating if not implemented with appropriately rated components and sealing methods.

Related Manufacturer Directories

häwa enclosures and machine structures commonly house or support PLCs, HMIs, networking equipment, machine-safety devices, sensors, drives and other automation hardware.
