Scott Equipment Company supports Fabco-Air pneumatic cylinders, high-force actuators, linear slides, grippers, rotary actuators, valves and air-preparation products for manufacturers, OEMs and maintenance teams throughout North and South Carolina.
Fabco-Air Pneumatic Cylinders, Slides & Automation Components
Fabco-Air manufactures pneumatic components for modern automation with a strong focus on U.S.-built cylinders, interchangeable actuator designs and custom modifications. Its current portfolio includes compact, NFPA and ISO cylinders, high-force Multi-Power® products, linear slides, pneumatic grippers, rotary actuators, directional and flow-control valves, air-preparation components and supporting accessories.

American Pneumatic Manufacturing Since 1958
Fabco-Air has built pneumatic products in the United States since 1958, when the company introduced the Original Pancake® compact cylinder. Fabco-Air operates from Gainesville, Florida.
Compact & Interchangeable Cylinders
The Original Pancake®, Pancake® II, F-Series, NFPA, ISO and other actuator families provide space-saving, repairable and dimensionally interchangeable options for new machines and replacement applications.
High-Force Pneumatic Solutions
Multi-Power® cylinders and presses use multiple pistons on a common shaft to multiply output force using shop air, providing a pneumatic option for applications that need substantially greater thrust.
Extensive Customization Capability
Fabco-Air modifies materials, dimensions, mounting, port locations, cushioning, sensors and accessories and can combine cylinders, slides, rotary actuators and grippers into application-specific assemblies.

Use these product areas as a starting point for cylinder replacement, compact actuation, guided motion, high-force pressing, gripping, rotary motion and pneumatic control.
Pneumatic Cylinders & Actuators
Fabco-Air’s actuator range includes the Original Pancake® and Pancake® II compact cylinders, F-Series round-body cylinders, NFPA and OEM-NFPA FCQN cylinders, ISO 6431 and ISO 6432 designs, twin-rod, guided, rodless, swing-clamp and stopper cylinders. The Original Pancake® is available in eight bore sizes from 1/2 to 4 inches with strokes up to 4 inches.
Explore pneumatic actuators →High-Force Actuators & Multi-Power®
Multi-Power® technology uses multiple pistons attached to a common rod to multiply thrust using compressed air. Fabco-Air applies the principle to cylinders, air presses and boosters for pressing, crimping, forming and other high-force operations where compact pneumatic power is useful.
Explore high-force actuators →Linear Slides & Guided Motion
Fabco-Air linear slides include basic S and L Series designs, FDH precision finger slides, FGXS slide tables and additional guided-motion products. Current slide families provide choices for compact installation, longer strokes, precision guidance, adjustable stops, shock absorption and sensor integration.
Explore linear slides →Pneumatic Grippers
Fabco-Air offers parallel and angular pneumatic grippers for assembly, material handling and robotic pick-and-place. Current families include compact two-jaw parallel designs, high-force and wide-opening angular grippers, three-jaw options and products with magnetic piston sensing and configurable jaw styles.
Explore pneumatic grippers →Rotary Actuators
Fabco-Air rotary products include compact vane-type and rack-and-pinion actuators. Current FRB models offer 90-, 180- and 270-degree vane rotation, while FRC and FRA rack-and-pinion families provide low-backlash rotary motion with sensor and adjustment options.
Explore rotary actuators →Valves & Air Preparation
Fabco-Air’s valve portfolio includes solenoid and directional controls, air-pilot valves, needle and flow controls, check and shuttle valves, pressure-sensing products and special-purpose valves. Air-preparation products include filters, regulators, lubricators, mist separators, soft-start valves and lockout/tagout valves.
Explore pneumatic valves →Help Select, Cross Over and Apply Fabco-Air Components
Our Sales and Technical Teams can help review bore, stroke, load, force, mounting, guidance, cushioning, speed, sensing, valve flow and environmental requirements. We can also help evaluate competitor-cylinder crossovers and coordinate Fabco-Air components with air preparation, controls, sensors and supporting pneumatic hardware.
Cylinder & Interchange Selection
Compare NFPA, ISO, round-body and compact-cylinder options based on mounting dimensions, bore, stroke, rod size, ports, cushions, sensing and service environment.
High-Force Application Review
Evaluate available air pressure, required thrust, stroke, cycle rate, tooling load and mounting to determine whether a Multi-Power® cylinder, press or related high-force design fits the application.
Slides, Grippers & Rotary Motion
Review payload, moments, guidance, jaw motion, gripping force, rotation angle, backlash, sensing and installation envelope for pneumatic motion and handling products.
WBIYII Pneumatic Assemblies
Coordinate Fabco-Air cylinders, valves, air preparation, sensors, fittings, flow controls and mounting hardware into repeatable WBIYII assemblies or installation-ready kits.
Selection note: Final pneumatic-component selection should be verified against load, side load, available pressure and flow, speed, kinetic energy, mounting, duty cycle, temperature, media compatibility and environmental exposure. Interchange results should also be checked against the complete dimensional and performance requirements because products from different manufacturers may not be identical even when they share common mounting standards.
Configuration, Crossover and Product Resources
Use these resources to configure parts, access CAD and technical information, cross over competitor products and review current Fabco-Air literature.
Explore Supporting Automation Technologies
Fabco-Air cylinders, slides, grippers and valves commonly integrate with sensors, PLCs, machine-safety products, vacuum systems and robotic or mechanical handling equipment.
