About Alkon

Pneumatic Connection and Control Products for Industrial and Mobile Equipment

Founded in 1953, Alkon has evolved from pneumatic cylinders and valves into a major North American manufacturer of pneumatic fittings and control products. Alkon introduced its all-brass AQ push-to-connect fitting line in 1981 and later expanded into DOT fittings, composite fittings, mobile valves and integrated pneumatic systems.

Industrial Pneumatic Products

Industrial offerings include brass and composite push-to-connect fittings, pipe fittings, directional valves, lapped-spool valves, direct-acting valves and Series J flow-control products.

DOT & Mobile Pneumatics

Alkon designs fittings, valves, tubing, manifolds and integrated controls for truck, trailer, air-brake, air-suspension, axle-control and other transportation applications.

North American Manufacturing & Custom Engineering

Alkon machines and assembles products across its North American manufacturing footprint and supports custom fitting, valve and system designs when a standard component does not fit the application.

Help Identify and Apply Alkon Pneumatic Components

Our Sales and Technical Teams can help review an existing part number, tube and port sizes, valve function, pressure, flow, operator style, mounting and environmental requirements. We can also coordinate Alkon components with tubing, actuators, air preparation, controls and supporting pneumatic hardware.

Fitting Selection & Replacement

Review tube OD, port thread, fitting shape, material, temperature, pressure and installation environment to identify the appropriate connection.

Valve Function & Operator Selection

Match 2-, 3- or 4-way functions, number of positions, flow requirement and manual, pneumatic or solenoid actuation to the machine circuit.

DOT & Mobile Pneumatic Components

Identify fittings, tubing, valves, manifolds and controls for air-brake, suspension, axle-control and other commercial-vehicle pneumatic systems.

WBIYII Assemblies & Kits

Organize valves, fittings, tubing, manifolds and related pneumatic components into repeatable bills of material or WBIYII installation kits.

Selection note: Final product selection should be verified against pressure, flow, temperature, media, tubing, thread, valve function, electrical requirements and operating environment. Transportation applications should also be checked against the applicable DOT, SAE and FMVSS requirements for the complete system.
