The SFD-M Smart Feedback Device—standard on all Kollmorgen Essentials motors—provides 24-bit single-turn and 16-bit battery-free multi-turn absolute feedback with plug-and-play setup when paired with Kollmorgen Essentials or AKD-series drives. This high-resolution encoder ensures < ±1 arc-min positional accuracy and eliminates the need for battery maintenance.
For fast, clean installation, the KEM-2V075-KE92CB integrates a rotatable M23 hybrid connector that combines power, brake, and feedback into one IP54-rated interface, reducing cabling and commissioning time.
