KED-SPM-7V06S-A100-0000-A Kollmorgen Essentials 240/480 VAC Motor Drive

The Kollmorgen KED-SPM-7V06S-A100-0000-A is a high-performance 240/480 VAC, 3-phase servo drive delivering advanced motion capability with simplified commissioning. As part of the Kollmorgen Essentials™ drive platform, it is optimized for seamless integration with Kollmorgen’s single-cable servo motors using SFD-M or SFD3 feedback.

 

Featuring 6 Arms continuous and 18 Arms peak output current, this drive is ideal for powering 2.0 kW servo axes in packaging automation, robotics, conveyors, gantries, and multi-axis machinery. Its compact enclosure—295 mm height, 70 mm width, and 202 mm depth—allows high-density cabinet installation without sacrificing performance.

 

Every Essentials drive includes universal Multi-Ethernet support, providing EtherCAT®, PROFINET® IRT, and EtherNet/IP™ CIP Sync on a single hardware platform. This eliminates the need for protocol-specific variants and simplifies machine standardization.

 

Commissioning is dramatically accelerated using Kollmorgen WorkBench with Express Setup, automatic parameter population, a six-channel oscilloscope, and one-click tuning. Built-in dual-channel STO up to SIL2 / PL d provides functional safety without external safety relays.

 

Designed for modern industrial requirements, the KED-SPM-7V06S drive offers high-speed digital I/O (<1 µs), DC-bus sharing, integrated braking resistor connections, shield-friendly PE bonding, and USB-C diagnostics.
