This “025” cable variant uses 2.5 mm² power conductors, providing increased current-carrying capability for larger motors driven by KED-SPM-6V10S, KED-SPM-6V12S, and KED-SPM-6V20S servo drives. Its durable PUR jacket delivers 1000 V insulation, excellent chemical and oil resistance, and a proven 12 million cycle flex life, making it suitable for cable carriers and high-duty motion systems.
The motor-end connector uses the A5 M23 SpeedTec interface, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility with Kollmorgen KEM, AKM, and AKM2G motors equipped with SFD-M or SFD3 feedback. The drive-side 52 connector code guarantees correct pinout for higher-power Essentials drives.
Inside the hybrid cable, motor phases (U/V/W), brake leads, protective earth, and shielded differential feedback pairs are arranged in an EMC-optimized layout—ensuring clean, reliable signal integrity even across long distances.
