The SMC AR25-N02-Z-B-X430 Air Regulator provides reliable compressed-air pressure regulation for industrial pneumatic systems operating in low-temperature environments. This body size 25 configuration features 1/4-inch NPT inlet and outlet ports, a relieving design, left-to-right airflow, and a downward-facing adjustment knob. The regulator uses imperial psi pressure labeling and is supplied without a pressure gauge or mounting accessory.
Part of SMC's AR Series of modular air regulators, the AR25 provides adjustable downstream pressure control for pneumatic machinery and automation equipment. SMC specifies a standard AR25 pressure setting range of 0.05 to 0.85 MPa, with a maximum operating pressure of 1.0 MPa and proof pressure of 1.5 MPa. The modular AR design can also be combined with other compatible SMC air-preparation components.
The distinguishing feature of the AR25-N02-Z-B-X430 is its X430 low-temperature construction. SMC uses special materials in the seals and related components to support operation in colder environments. The X430 specification provides an ambient temperature range of −30°C to 60°C (-22°F to 140°F) and a fluid temperature range of −5°C to 60°C (23°F to 140°F), with no freezing. SMC specifies special NBR rubber parts for this low-temperature configuration.
This regulator is well suited for industrial automation, machine building, material handling equipment, outdoor or unheated machinery, and other pneumatic systems where reliable pressure regulation may be required at temperatures below the range of a standard pneumatic regulator.
