The JVL MAC00-B41 is a module intended to be used with the complete range of the integrated MAC servo motors except MAC50-141where it has limited functions. The module is a general purpose module that has all the MAC00-B4 functions but extended with the following I/O functions:
- 6 digital I/O (24V tolerant) that individually can be used as inputs or outputs. Each channel can (when used as an output) source up to 300mA.
- 2 analogue 12 bit inputs.
- 2 multi-function RS422 channels, e.g. for encoder in/out.
- Dual supply feature for safe motor stop. The main supply can be removed but the control circuitry is kept active and postion data and communication are still functional.
- Glavanic isolated RS232 and RS485.
- RS485 channel from 9.600 to 230.000 bit/sec. MAC800, MAC1000, MAC1200 ony at 19.200 bit/sec.
- New simple and robust internal generation 2 connector.
- M12 industrial connectors for simple, safe and watertight connection.
- Optical isolated communication covering RS232, RS485 and USB (2.0).
Typical applications for this expansion module are:
- Closed loop systems with an overall conrtroller involved.
- Replacement for pneumatic cylinders using the "Air Cylinder mode".
- Dispenser systems.
- Madhine adjustment/setup by sending RS232 or RS485 commands.
- Standalone PLC with user program stored in the basic motor.
NOTE: This MAC00-B41 can ONLY be mounted in the MAC400 and newer versions of the MAC800 motor (Serial number > 85000). This module CAN NOT be used in the MAC050 to 141 motors.
