Hey, everybody, I am Mike. I am the marketing manager for Scott Equipment Company and today we are going to do something a little different. We are going to surprise Aaron this morning and we are going to shoot a day in the life of a Scott Equipment Company salesperson to show you what it is like for a Scott Equipment Company salesperson when they are out on the road. So here we go. Let us go grab Aaron and see how the day goes.

Aaron

Mike, what are you doing here? Like it is eight o'clock. Did I know you were coming?

Mike

We are going down the road Aaron. Now Aaron did not know we were coming. So, this is a surprise for Aaron, and we are going to hit the road and show you what it is like to be on the out on the road with a Scott Equipment Company salesperson.

Aaron

Are you sure you want to do this mike?

Mike

100% Let us do it.

Aaron

You asked for it. You are getting it. Let us go.

Mike

So, we are out on the road. Aaron and I are heading up to Winston Salem, which is part of Aaron's territory. Let us ask him some questions. Aaron what is a what is a typical day like for you out on the road?

Aaron

I try to skate out of the house somewhere between 8am or 9am, after I review a couple emails. My territory is from Old Fort, NC which is near Asheville over to the east side of Winston Salem to Kernersville, so I have a large territory to cover. Today we are just having to mix it up and head over towards Winston Salem take care of a couple of accounts. Mike, I get a lot of phone calls, a lot of micro communications, I get about 40 to 50 plus emails a day. In between the sales calls I am doing a lot of vendors calling and problem solving. A lot of micro instruction, for example, quote this, quote that while trying to hit up hit up an account or customer to schedule a visit with them to check on their needs. Keep moving on some opportunities and assisting people with more technical assistance than anything because we do not normally do any kind of pricing. Our Internal Sales department does a lot of our pricing for us.

Mike

We are getting ready to pull into the first stop and we will come back and catch up with you in a little while.

Mike, I am from Kentucky. I am born and bred as a UK Wildcat basketball fan. So that is what we do.

Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?

Aaron

The oddest person I have ever met was Phil Helman, the poker player. I have met all kinds of people though, through my past NASCAR relationships. I have met people from Tommy Lee, a Motley Crew member, to government people, astronauts, TV, wrestlers, football players, actors, and actresses. The coolest person I ever met was Colin Powell.

Aaron

Yes, I do, and I know a lot of people think that is wrong.

Mike

Aaron

No, because I am a racer, Mike. I raced motorcycles and cars and everything else. So, no.

Mike

How many miles do you have on your car?

Aaron

356,000 miles on it right now.

All right, so we just finished up a call and I got to meet some new folks and saw some neat things but can you give us an overview of how you think this call went and how you introduced Scott Equipment Company and how we can be beneficial to this particular customer for the projects that they're working on.

Aaron

Mike, it was a great call. We went in there to discuss a very important, large scale potential application for them. This is something we have been working on for weeks with effective pricing and the ability to attain a high volume of machines. While we are there, we were able to open the doors for some new products. So, we have like the Satie System for a panel building. We talked about that. And they were interested in learning more about Satie Systems. So, it is what you can do, which is great. We opened another door. We also discussed Murrplastik for the conduit protection. We were there for a while, which some of our accounts might are quick, you know, run in, and run out.

Mike

That sounds good. That is awesome. I also know we talked about Finder Relays and some products that we were introduced to this week. So that is one way that we leverage things, working with our vendors, find out about new things and going right out and telling our customers about the new products.
