SMC's LEHS, 3-finger electric gripper series, has been designed with a drop prevention function to maintain gripping force on workpieces during an emergency stop or restart. When a teaching box is used, the LEHS is easy to operate with just two parameters, position & thrust, to set (other conditions already preset). The LEHS grips cylindrical & spherical, or easily deformed components easily.
